Our discount on every booking
Our booking partner pays us a commission on every booking made through our search button or an offer we send you. No deposit, no credit card
At almost every airport in our guides, there is a rental company that asks for no deposit, only a symbolic 0,01 EUR card authorisation at pick-up, and it accepts debit cards. At Palermo, Catania, Trapani, Naples, Bari and Pisa, you can also book no-deposit offers that need no card at all. They cost more than the cheapest car, because the rental company carries the risk.

Full insurance for much less than at the desk
Full coverage bought online with your booking usually costs 2-4 times less than the insurance sold at the desk, and it also covers the windscreen, wheels, tyres, towing and lost keys. We explain how it works before you book: if the car is damaged, the rental company charges you up to the excess and you claim the money back. The deposit is still blocked on your card.

Who is behind Autorentwiz
Autorentwiz was founded by Simas Krasaitis. From 2018 he was head of car rental at ADCRent, a car rental company at Vilnius Airport in Lithuania with up to 150 cars, which won customer favourite awards from international booking platforms. He knows the rental desk from the inside: what agents check, what they sell and which rules catch travellers out. Since 2023 he has used that experience to advise travellers, first on social media and now on autorentwiz.com.

What we do not do
We would rather tell you this before you book than at the rental desk:
- We are not a rental company. We do not own cars, and your rental contract is with the rental company.
- We cannot remove a deposit that the offer asks for. If the offer has a deposit, the desk will block it, even if you bought full coverage online.
- We cannot change the rental company’s rules. If a debit card offer needs the company’s own insurance, the offer’s terms say so, and you have to buy it.
- We do not take payments. You pay the booking platform when you book.
